1. Business details and application
Maring Design Solutions (MDS), founded by Stan Maring, is based in the Netherlands and registered under KVK number 42147696. These terms provide the general framework for services offered to businesses and private customers. A written proposal or project agreement may contain additional or more specific arrangements.
2. Enquiries and agreements
Submitting an enquiry does not create a paid agreement. A project begins only after the client accepts a written proposal or another clear written agreement. That agreement will define the selected service, scope, deliverables, schedule, price, payment arrangements and any included revision rounds.
3. Client responsibilities
The client must provide accurate information, timely feedback and the materials reasonably needed to complete the project. The client confirms that it has permission to use any text, images, logos, plans or other content supplied to MDS.
4. Changes and additional work
Requests outside the agreed scope, additional concepts or extra revision rounds may affect the schedule and cost. MDS will discuss material changes with the client before carrying out additional paid work.
5. Delivery and implementation
Designs, visualisations and recommendations are prepared with care based on the information available. Unless expressly agreed, MDS does not guarantee construction outcomes, third-party production, printing, hosting, installation, statutory approvals or the performance of products supplied by others. The client remains responsible for final technical, safety and regulatory checks before implementation.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, MDS retains intellectual-property rights in concepts and working files. The proposal or project agreement will explain which final files and usage rights the client receives. Rights or licences connected to paid deliverables take effect after the agreed payment has been received. MDS will not publish confidential client information without permission.
7. Cancellation and consumers
Cancellation arrangements will be stated in the proposal or project agreement. Private customers may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period when a service agreement is concluded at a distance. If a consumer expressly asks MDS to begin during that period, payment may be due for work performed before a valid cancellation. Mandatory consumer rights always remain applicable.
8. Complaints and responsibility
Please report questions or complaints promptly by emailing maringdesignsolutions@gmail.com, giving MDS a reasonable opportunity to investigate and propose a solution. Any responsibility and limitation arrangements will be set out in the project agreement and will never exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to agreements with MDS, without removing any mandatory protections a private customer has under applicable consumer law. The parties will first try to resolve disagreements through direct discussion before taking further steps.
Important
These website terms are a general starting point and do not replace project-specific agreements or professional legal advice. They should be reviewed when MDS introduces online payments, subscriptions, downloadable products, direct online contracting or materially different services.
