Privacy policy

This policy explains how Maring Design Solutions handles personal information when you contact us or work with us.

Last updated: 9 September 2026

1. Who is responsible?

Maring Design Solutions, founded by Stan Maring, is responsible for the processing described in this policy.

2. Information we process

When you contact us, we may process your name, email address, company name, requested service, approximate budget, preferred deadline and the information you provide about your project. If we work together, we may also process contact, proposal, contract, invoicing and project-administration information.

3. Why we use this information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare and discuss proposals, perform agreed services, communicate about a project, maintain our administration and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the situation, this is based on steps requested before entering an agreement, performance of an agreement, legitimate business interests, consent or a legal obligation.

4. How the enquiry form works

Enquiries submitted through the website are securely sent to MDS through Formspree. Formspree processes the information entered in the form so it can be delivered to our business email. You can also contact MDS directly by email instead of using the form.

5. Retention

General enquiries that do not become a project are normally retained for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Information connected to a project is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, handle questions and meet legal obligations. Records that form part of the business or tax administration may be retained for the legally required period, generally seven years in the Netherlands.

6. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. Formspree processes website enquiries on our behalf. Information may also be processed by service providers needed for email, website hosting, file storage, accounting or project delivery. It may be shared when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where providers process information outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards made available by those providers and applicable law.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on the situation, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us by email to make a request. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Security and changes

We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information. This policy may be updated when our services, website tools or legal obligations change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
